Lucie Doughty's floral journey flourished from a deep-rooted love that infused family gatherings, hairstyles, and cherished gifts with beauty and grace. Born in Lincoln, England, Lucie embodies an English sensibility blended with a contemporary California vibe. ​ With over 25 years in the beauty industry, her career has spanned continents, earning her prestigious titles and awards such as 4 North American hairdressing awards, Head of the Color Department, Editorial Director, and ultimately, Creative Director for a leading haircare company. These rich and diverse experiences, including leading large teams and organizing grand events, have uniquely equipped her for her current creative path. After honing her skills at the Los Angeles Flower School and completing an intensive one-month course at the prestigious London Flower School, Lucie seamlessly integrated her passion for fashion and design into her floral artistry. Constantly pushing boundaries, she innovates with new concepts and stunning tablescapes that elevate every occasion to an art form. Lucie personally works on every part of the event alongside her team to ensure it perfectly aligns with the client's vision. ​ Lucie's joy stems from the transformative power of flowers in events, drawing inspiration from her extensive knowledge of art, fashion design, and mastery of color and texture. Our commitment extends to sourcing beautiful American-grown flowers through close relationships with like-minded suppliers. We are actively reducing our environmental footprint by minimizing the use of floral foam, aiming to be completely foam-free by the end of 2025. Additionally, we have significantly reduced single-use plastics and prioritize recycling with dedicated bins at our facility. Composting is integral to our waste management strategy, and we regularly donate to local care homes. We embrace the use of growing plants in our designs, ensuring they are repurposed by our clients or returned to nature through upcycling and recycling initiatives.
